Charity Board: Giving box-lunch portions on the 106th Seven-Day Retreat

Hoang Phap pagoda’s Charity Board, Trạng Nguyên Company, male and female volunteer doers went to some companies in Thu Duc and Hoc Mon wholesale market of agricultural products to give vegetarian portions of box-lunch on the 106th Seven-Day Retreat of Sep. 13th-20th, 2025.

The small meals are a manifestation of compassion, an act of charity in the spirit of “serving sentient beings is offered to the Buddhas”. The vegetarian meals given away – humanity spreads, this giving away is a heart sent, a peace planted. The retreat is not only a time for diligent practice, but also an opportunity for monks and Buddhists to join hands, spread the light of compassion to all directions, sowing good karma in every step of practice.
