Charity Board: Pilgrimage at the beginning of Year of the Snake 2025

On Jan. 29th, 2025 (Jan. 1st, LC) Junior Thich Tam Hue, Head of Charity Department of Hoang Phap Pagoda, HCMC led a pilgrimage group to pagodas including monks and 170 Buddhists. They visited the temples and pagodas in Hoc Mon HCMC, Tiền Giang, Vĩnh Long, Cần Thơ.

The route to worship 10 pagodas is changed every year with the aim of building a spiritual life towards the good, noble for Buddhists creating good conditions.

 

The program has become a spiritual cultural beauty when the New Year, and the spring comes to the disciples of Buddhism. Hoang Phap pagoda, Hoc Mon, HCMC is the first point of the offering. On this occasion, monks and Buddhists listened to the early spring dharma and wishes of peace in the new year from the Most Master. Next, the group moves to:

 

2. Truc Lam Chanh Giac Monastery, Tan Phuoc, Tien Giang – Senior Thich Thong Phuong is the Abbot.

3. Tien Phap Pagoda in Tien Giang (Hoang Phap Pagoda branch) – Junior Thich Tam Phung is the Abbot.

4. Ngoc Son Monastery, Vinh Long – Nun Thich Nu Yen Lien is the Abbess.

5. Bo De Co Tu Pagoda, Binh Minh, Vinh Long – Junior Thich Phuoc Tan is the Abbot.

6. Quan Am Pagoda, Ninh Kieu, Can Tho – Nun Thich Nu Dieu Ngo is the Abbess.

7. Phat Hoc Pagoda, Ninh Kieu, Can Tho – Senior Thich Minh Thong is the Abbot.

8. Truc Lam Phuong Nam Monastery, Phong Dien, Can Tho – Senior Thich Binh Tam is the Abbot.

9. Truong Phap Pagoda, Hau Giang (a branch of Hoang Phap Pagoda – Junior Thich Tam Y is the Abbot).

 

At each destination, the group worshiped the Buddha, visited, then offered. After that, the group paid homage to the Most, Senior, Junior, Nun of the Sangha; listened to the good Dharma so that each person could take it as the knowledge on the path of Buddhist study and will start a New Year with many happy and peaceful things.

 

The pilgrimage ended successfully in the joy of the mass.
