Charity Board: The beginning rite to sculpt the statue Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara offering to Pho Hien vihara in Dong Nai

Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara symbolizes compassion, virtue, saving all living beings from suffering and protecting, helping followers to have confidence in their practice and live in love and help each other.
Attending the ceremony were the presence Junior Thich Tam Hue, Head of the temple Charity Board, Junior Thich Tam Hong, who is currently managing for the Pho Hien vihara in Dong Nai; Mr. Le Tat Vu – owner, sculptor Nguyễn Hữu Lai, and Phạm Ngọc Thuận.
After the rite of lighting incense to the Buddha, Junior Thich Tam Hue and the mass chanted mantra and recited the Buddha name which prayed for the statue to be completed soon.
It is known the statue will be carved about 5 high meters, 13 tons, white stone mixing hidden green jade, grade 1, monolith is sculpted by National Artist Nguyễn Hữu Lai, Phạm Ngọc Thuận.
The estimated time of completion will be on June 30th, 2025 with a total budget of 300 million VND. This statue offered by some Buddhists to the Pho Hien vihara in Dong Nai is managed by Junior Thich Tam Hong.
The ceremony was completed in the joy of the mass.
