Charity trip in Can Tho

On July 9th, 2022, Junior Thich Tam Truong, Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda together with monks and Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda had a charity trip in Can Tho.

Accordingly, in two wards Thanh Hoa and Trung Kien in Thot Not district, Can Tho City, the monks have given 100 gifts to needy people in each ward. Each gift includes rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, clothes, an envelope, and a gift of book named Lessons for Buddhists.

 The total for this charity is 70,000.0000 VND (Seventy million VND). The gift is a spiritual sharing, supporting people to overcome current difficulties, and have faith towards the future.

By the way, the abbot also has words of encouragement for people on the path of study Buddhism. He talked about the happiness of having a human body, full of senses and overcoming the recent Covid-19 pandemic.

We are born in the middle of life, each person has their own situation, each person has their own karma, it is important we accept and face difficulties and adversities, because inside of us, we have a potential hidden ability. If we know how to strive for our rise, we will reap many achievements, transform suffering and pain to have a peaceful and happy life.
