Charity trip to share love of Dong Cao Pagoda

Continuing to share love every month in the exciting summer atmosphere, the Dong Cao Temple Buddhist Youth Club visits needy families inside and outside the district. This activity helps the youth see their happy life to try harder in studying and obeying their parents.

By the joyful encouragement of Abbot Thich Tam Hung, the Buddhist Youth Club of Yen Phap Pagoda and Buddhists together made a charity trip, sharing love on the afternoon of June 26, 2022.

Under the guidance of Buddhist Tinh Hung, Leader of the temple ’s volunteers, went to the family Mr Mai Van Manh, 57 years old, residing in Luc Hai village, Nga Giap commune, Nga Son, Thanh Hoa.

He had a traffic accident on the way home and  had to completely amputate his right leg. His mother is Mai Thi Thai, nearly 80 years old, the wife of martyr Mai Van Suc. Mr Manh has no wife and children, or brothers, only his old mother who depend on each other with him. At this time, he had an accident, and his mother was old and sick, so his living was very difficult. Currently, he is being actively treated at Thanh Hoa General Hospital.

On behalf of the delegation, Buddhist Tinh Hung asked after Mr Manh’s health and encouraged the family, burned incense to ancestors to pray for Mr Hung to get well soon. 

Buddhist Lien Thanh, Head of the temple sent gifts, including: An envelope of 1,000,000 VND, 1 bottle of cooking oil, 1 box of vegetarian noodles, 1kg of sugar and a gift of Dharma.

It's a small gift, but it's our heart of support to spread love to everyone around, help them reduce their suffering and sow good conditions in the Three Jewels.
