Children's smile - the playground of sowing Viet lotus seeds at Hoa Phuc pagoda

On November 25th, 2018 (lunar October 19th, the year of dog) under the guidance and direct teaching of the Venerable Thich Tam Giai - Deputy Head of Hoa Phuc pagoda, children's playground in November was held at Hoa Thach Commune - Quoc Oai District - Hanoi City.

Early in the morning, the pagoda was filled with children's laughs and sound who  registered to study at the retreat. At 8:00 am, the little kids were instructed by the Buddhist Bao Tram – chief layman who accompanied the volunteers instructing Buddhist dignity and playing a collective game of friendship.

Some Buddhist animated films are also screened at there to help children approach Buddhism in a more natural way.

In the afternoon, after the nap at the pagoda, the children gathered to Amitabha lecture hall, clasping their hands together as lotus to welcome Ven. Thich Tam Giai  having a dharma talk. Venerable shared with his learners the meaning of the verses in the blessings sutra. These are the teachings of the Buddha in terms of filial piety, human love for all beings, or blessings of each person can create for themselves.

Then, representative of the filial piety class offerred thanking words to their teacher monks and nuns on the occasion of the past 20/11. Receiving the sentiments of the pupils, Venerable encouraged and had a short dharma talk about the spiritual teacher of each person. The playground of sowing Viet lotus seeds in November ended with happy smiles of the children, the Vietnamese lotus buds are growing day by day in the immense love of Buddhism.
