Closing ceremony of ten-year Buddha activities at Tieu Dao pagoda (2008-2018) in Quang Ninh

Tieu Dao Pagoda was built and developed on the land of Ha Khau ward, Ha Long city. Since being a simple pagoda, until being officially inaugurated in 2008, up to now, it has undergone 10 years of construction and development. After all this time, many generations of monks and nuns, Buddhists, benefactors and leaders have devoted themselves to maintaining and building Tieu Dao pagoda on a vast, spacious, place, which spiritually refuging for so many people.
Ever since Venerable Thich Tam Tinh came to the pagoda this day, the Venerable Abbot and Buddhists have organized many Buddha activities and social charity inside and outside of the pagoda to contribute for the Buddha cultivation and social communities.
The ceremony was witnessed by Senior Venerable Thich Dao Hien - member of the central Committee of the Buddhist Director Board - Deputy Head of the Board and Chief Secretary of the Office of the Buddhist Director Board in Quang Ninh province; Venerable Thich Ban Tuong - permanent member of the of the Buddhist Director Board in Quang Ninh province - deputy director of the Buddhist Director Board in Ha Long City; Venerable Thich Giac Dat - member of the Central Committee of Buddhist Director Board in Quang Ninh Province - head of the Board of Veterans of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ba Che District; Venerable Thich Tinh Nguyet - member of the Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Director Board in Quang Ninh province - deputy head of the Nunnery Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Director Board in Quang Ninh province; Venerable Thich Van Phong - Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee Buddhist Director Board in Hoanh Bo distric. There were also Venerables, monks, nuns who are abbots of pagodas inside and outside the province proving and attending the ceremony.
On the leadership of Department - Board - Branch of Quang Ninh province: Mr. Pham Hung Son - Standing Vice Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh Province; Mr. Ngo Van Son - Deputy Head of Religion Department of Quang Ninh Province; Ms. Tran Thu Hien - Head of Ethnicity and Religion Department, Ban Dan Van, Quang Ninh province; Mr. Truong Hong Thanh - Deputy Manager of PA.88 Police Department of Quang Ninh Province; Mr. Vu Hong Hai - Chairman of Quang Ninh Red Cross. Regarding the leaders of People's Committee and Departments of Ha Long City, there are: Mr. Vu Hong Son - BTV member of the Party Committee - Vice Chairman of Ha Long City People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Trung Hau - became a member - Head of Ha Long City Culture and Information Department; Mr. Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Vice Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Long City; Ms. Nguyen Bao Phuong - Deputy Head of Organization and Interior Department of Ha Long City; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoa - Secretary of the Party Committee of Ha Long City; Ms. Nguyen Thanh Mai - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Ha Long city office. On the side of local leaders, there were: Ms. Le Ngoc Bich - Deputy Secretary of Party Committee - Chairman of People's Council of Ha Khau ward; Mr. Nguyen Huy Suu - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Khau ward.
Opening the program, Venerable Thich Tam Tinh - member of the Buddhist Director Board in Quang Ninh Province – The Abbot of Tieu Dao Pagoda - Head of the Organizing Committee - read the Opening Speech.
Next, everyone watched the recorded video clip: "The Ten-Year Buddha Activities".
Then Mr. Vu Hong Son - Member of the Standing Committee of municipal party committee - Vice Chairman of Ha Long City People's Committee represented the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ha Long City, spoke up and had a flower basket to congratulate the Senior Venerable Abbot.
Then, Venerable Thich Dao Hien - member of the Buddhist Director Board - deputy head of the Board and Chief Secretary of the Buddhist Director Board in Quang Ninh province went to the Committee and sent a flower basket to congratulate the Senior Venerable Abbot. At the same time, the Venerable awarded the "Congratulatory Merit" of Buddhist Director Board in Quang Ninh Province to individuals and collectives who have made outstanding achievements in Buddha activities for the past 10 years at Tieu Dao Pagoda.
Finally, Venerable Thich Tam Tinh awarded the "Congratulatory Merit" of the Buddhist Director Board of Ha Long City for individuals and collectives who have made outstanding achievements in Buddhist activities for the past 10 years at Tieu Dao Pagoda.
The ceremony ended with great success in the joy of everyone.
