Community Retreat at Quynh Nhai Cam Lo pagoda - Son La on Oct. 2024

On the Community Retreat of Oct. 26th - 27th, 2024, monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda sect came to Quynh Nhai Cam Lo Pagoda at Quynh Nhai spiritual cultural area in Son La province, companying with the pagoda’s monks visited and encouraged Buddhists affected by natural disasters in the district

Monks and Buddhists prayed together, chanted Dharma Jewel Platform Sutra, and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Sutra, and offered meals to the souls of fallen soldiers and compatriots. On behalf of the Monks, Junior Thich Tam Trong, Abbot of Nhat Phap Pagoda, Dong Nai shared a Dharma talk to encourage Buddhists: obey the Buddha's teachings, practice diligently to always live a good life and uphold the Dharma.

 

The retreat ended in the joy of the mass.
