Continuing to support people in need in the Covid-19 pandemic of Hoang Phap Pagoda (series 11)

From Aug. 9th – 13th, 2021 (July 2nd-6th, LC), Hoang Phap Pagoda continued implementing the program sharing 10,000 gifts to people affected by the Covid-19 epidemic. These agricultural products are donated by benefactors and Buddhists near the commune, transfering to the pagoda to support the community in the Covid-19 pandemic.

During this period, the pagoda received 60 tons of rice and some agricultural products: 1 ton of corn; 1 ton of longan; 9 tons of zucchini; 10 tons of pumpkin; 17 tons of white radish; 10 tons of pineapple; 7.8 tons of eggplant; 4.4 tons of jicama; 600 kg of carrot; 1.3 tons of tomatoes; 1.3 tons of cucumber; 2.1 tons of chayote; 9 bags of water dropwort; 5 bags of green onions.

Next, the Monks and the Buddhists in the inner pagoda divided into small parts. Each gift includes: 5kg of rice and a portion of vegetables of each kind.

The pagoda divided gift portions to people who are currently staying at boarding houses in Thoi Tam Thon, Xuan Thoi Son, Xuan Thoi Thuong communes. The pagoda is still continuing to give gifts to people in the remaining communes in Hoc Mon district.
