Continuing to support people in need in the Covid-19 pandemic of Hoang Phap Pagoda (series 9)

In order to help people's living while the pandemic is increasing in complexity, contributing to residents' peace of mind to overcome the current difficulties, charity activities have appeared on the roads and alleys in recent days.

From August 2nd to 5th, 2021 (June 24th - 27th, LC), Hoang Phap Pagoda continued to carry out a program to share 10,000 gift portions to people affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.

Responding to the above activities, Buddhists everywhere have sent their tons of rice and agricultural products to the temple. Accordingly, the pagoda has received 43 tons of rice, of which Huong Tu Tam Hai Phong Club is 10 tons and Co Van, Dieu Am ’s family is 3 tons; 20 tons of dragon fruit (of which Junior Thich Tam Hoa, abbot of Hoa Phuc Pagoda in Hanoi donated 5 tons; Buddhists at Hung Phap pagoda, Dong Nai province is 15 tons), 15 tons of pumpkin, 9 tons of cabbage, 10 tons pineapple, 8 tons of white radish.

These kinds of food have been selected and divided into small gifts by the monk and devout Buddhists in the temple to send to the households in the remaining hamlets of Ba Diem commune,  such as Tien Lan, Trung Lan, Hau Lan and Hung Lan and hamlets of Trung Chanh commune. The pagoda is still continuing to give gifts to people in the remaining communes in Hoc Mon district.
