Day 2 of Temporary ordination retreat 2025 for Children in Summer with the theme Causes and effects preached Junior Thich Tam Huynh

On June 13th, 2025 is the 2nd day of the Temporary ordination retreat for Children in summer 2025. Beginning a new day with full energy, all children practiced in meditation, and practiced dance performance "Youthful Aspirations".

The children gathered in the Dharma halls to participate in the activities after breakfast.

 

 All attendees listened to a Dharma talk named “Causes and effects”, shared by Junior Thich Tam Huynh at 9:00 a.m. Not only is it a Buddhist doctrine but it is also the truth of life, cause and effect clearly shows every action leads to a corresponding result. When understanding and living according to the law of cause and effect, people become aware, know to distinguish right from wrong, good from evil, and proactively sow good causes in daily life. Living according to cause and effect helps one have peace of mind, reduce worries, and increase wisdom and love.

 

The monks and kids participate in the Dharma activities in their halls in the afternoon.

 

Last, the children have  a Buddhist quiz program in the evening.
