Day 3 of Temporary ordination and Teenage retreat in Summer 2025 for Children with the theme Bouquet of mind, preached Junior Thich Tam Trinh

On June 14th, 2025 is the 3rd day of the Temporary ordination retreat for Children in 2025. All kids practiced in self-defense kung fu postures and did exercises by the monk guidance when beginning a new day with full energy.

The children gathered in the Dharma halls to participate in the activities after breakfast.

 

At 9:00 a.m, little attendees listened to a dharma talk named "Bouquet of mind" preached by Junior Thich Tam Trinh. He wholeheartedly reminded the children: everyone has a beautiful flower in their heart, which is gratitude and love; enlarged their mind to the silent love of their parents who are always worried, sending them to the retreat with the hope that they will learn good things to become good children, know how to care for their parents and live kindlier every day. He also shared about the mindsets of those who have taken care of the Retreat not for the aim the children will be grateful but they will understand that they are loved very much. When understanding clearly, each child should bloom a "heart flower" by living politely, diligently, knowing how to listen and improving every day to become a filial child, a beautiful flower of life.

 

The children were enthusiastic about many physical games, demonstrating team spirit and interacting together in the afternoon.

 

Last, all learners solemnly chanted the Ullambana Sutra in the evening.
