Day 4 of Temporary ordination retreat for Children in Summer with the theme Vow to be a Buddhist

The children gathered in the Dharma halls to participate in the contest to memorize the poem “Lessons of Gratitude” after the breakfast. All kids listened to a Dharma talk named “Vow to be a Buddhist” shared by Junior Thich Dao Thuyen at 9:00 a.m. The monk gave many profound teachings, helping the children realize the value of relying on the Three Jewels, which nurtures the soul and guides them to a peaceful life, meanwhile, emphasizing the importance of turning inward to look back at themselves, knowing to feel and appreciate the love of parents. The children were reminded to repent for their mistakes that made their parents sad and learn to be grateful not only to their parents but also to their friends, teachers and all those who have loved and helped them in life. The monk sowed in the children's mind the seeds of filial piety, gratitude and love thanks to his compassionate teachings.
The little learners actively prepared and rehearsed the performances for the Gala night in the afternoon.
The performance program - Gala HP'S Got Talent Kids took place with outstanding performances that brought many surprises and excitement to everyone in the evening.
