Dharma number 84,000 does not refer to a specific number but is a term to describe the plural in Buddhism, similar to innumerable, boundless, Asankhya (countless eons) ...
In fact, living beings have many illnesses, so the Buddha's means of teaching must also be appropriate and there are many ways, as well as giving medicine depending on the illness, depending on each person's basic ability, the Buddha only teaches the practice. He used many different dharma means in each specific situation to be able to apply for living beings.
No matter which method a practitioner follows, the important thing is whether it suits his or her foundation or not? And the ultimate destination they aim to achieve; there is no high or low way, there is only a suitable one. Practitioners must know how to apply flexibly; be confident in the path we are on and see its value. When choosing a dharma door, we first need to determine our abilities, level and foundation to apply the practice, achieve success.
The monk spent 30 minutes answering Buddhists' questions about the lecture topic and the application after the preaching.
The attendees interacted with little Tuong Lam (4 years old) with her lovely understanding of vegetarianism, reciting mantras and cause and effect in her life in the afternoon.
