Dharma Talk "Getting out of the Fire House" in the 99th Seven-Day Retreat

On the second day of the 99th Seven-Day Retreat of April 10th, 2023; Senior Thich Phap Dang, member of Dong Nai province s' (DB) Director Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS), Thong Nhat district ‘s Head of DB, Abbot of Hue Vien Temple in Dong Nai had a dharma talk named Getting out of the house of fire.

Three realms of desire, form, and formlessness that sentient beings live in are likened to a house consumed by sorrow, illness, and death fire. Only those who are awakened could recognize suffering clearly, impermanence is the firehouse to find out a way to peace and get rid of suffering. We have very precious predestined conditions to understand that. Five desires, six objects burn, make the human mind foggy. All materials in the world are only temporary; cause and effect is the truth. As Buddhists we must recognize, and stop evil karma. Don't be wasteful, because it leads to very painful retribution. Then, the Senior points out two methods difficult and easy-to-practice for each practitioner to choose for themselves a suitable, fast, steady, irreversible and straight cultivation on the path out the burning house, which helps gain happiness, achieve Buddhahood.

The Dharma talk period ended in joy for the participants.
