Dharma Talk “I Almost Forgot You, My Mind” --- The 91st Seven-Day Retreat
Update: 22/04/2019
On the morning of April 22nd, 2019 (March 18th, LC), Ven. Thich Tam Luan, a Hoang Phap monk, had a talk named “I almost Forgot You, My Mind”.
in life, we have so many things to seek, to chase such as property, fame, good food, good sleep, beauty. Most people in this world dedicate their whole life to satisfy these things and get a lot of suffering from them. But have you ever looked back and thought whether these things are worth for us to chase? Normally we don’t. We only stop when the weakness, old-age, and death come to visit us, when we have no more strength to do anything then we start to think of our whole life. But, it’s really so late for all! Now you are here to join the practice and listen to these things, try to look inside yourself to find the right thing for seeking. The more you desire, the more you get unhappiness. Discover your precious mind inside you will be happy because nothing from out of your mind can bring about true happiness. Depending on anything you all get suffering. Our mind is pure and wholesome by nature, find to take it back instead of roaming outside.
