Dharma talk Is practice easy or difficult in the 2nd day practice

The ancients said "Practice first at home, second in market, third in temple"; therefore, although we stay any place, we must have practice. Thanks to sincere practice, followers will gain faith in the Three Jewels, keep five precepts, believe in karma and its results, etc.

Why is it easier to practice at the temple than at home or in the market? Because of coming to the temple, we are easy to meet virtuous masters, good friends, available to cultivate ten good karmas which helps live a kind life, do good leading to nobility. He also talked about four value causes that make the husband-wife relationship wholesome in this life and bonded in the next life, those are "Same faith, same precepts, same giving and same wisdom".

The pagoda is the monks’ residence, the school of Buddhism to help the Buddha's disciples return to take refuge and study. Buddhists must keep five precepts as the first step to abandoning evil and doing good; practice giving, keep precepts, have meditation, and aim for deliverance.

When having luckily to the temple, listen to Dharma, we must try to apply Buddha's teachings in our living to benefits of mindfulness, control the mind to recognize right and wrong, good and evil - good should do, evil should avoid; pay attention to body, speech and mind before praise and criticism; know filial piety to parents, and practice speaking good words with five principles, such as: "right time, truth, beneficial words, gentle words and speaking with loving-kindness."

Indeed, "Practice is easy or difficult" depends on each person's right or wrong perception. With the right perception of the educated mind, the practice is easy; On the contrary, when wrong perception, one does not believe in cause and effect, does not receive precepts and is lazy in goodness, it is very difficult to practice. So, Buddhists should vow to go to the temple regularly to meet virtuous monks, honest friends;  read-listen to and meditate on Buddha's words; practice good doing so that we can gain full joy and happiness every day, as well as sow the seeds of enlightenment in the future.

In the afternoon, Junior Thich Tam Duoc preached about basic teachings for Buddhists in the class "Hoang Phap Application Buddhism".

In the evening, Buddhists had a session "Paying homage to the Buddha's grace" led by Junior Thich Tam Duoc and Junior Thich Tam Tri.
