Dharma talk: My sky preaching by Nun Ven Thich Nu Minh Hoa - The fourth day of Temporary Ordination Retreat for Children in Summer 2024

On July 26th, 2024 is the fourth day of the retreat. The monks guided the children to meditate and breathe the fresh air under the dawn of the beginning of a new day.

The children have fun together after breakfast.

At 9:00 a.m., Nun Ven Thich Nu Minh Hoa - A lecturer at Vietnam Buddhist University in Ho Chi Minh City gave a Dharma talk on the topic "My sky" to the children.

The nun aroused the sacred love and understanding of gratitude to  parents from the clip and story about mother love and father love. She told the children to cherish the great happiness they have when their parents are still alive, try to live worthy of that love, improve themselves and grow up every day.

The life skill program shared by speaker Tran Thi My Dung through the topic "Reading culture builds personality" came to the children in the afternoon.

The children calmed down with sacred emotions in the "Gratitude Night" in front of the main hall in the evening.

The ceremony was attended by Junior Thich Tam Truong - Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda along with Venerable monks, parents and nearly 700 students.

In the solemnly, choked with emotion, the ceremony took place. With all their loving hearts and infinite gratitude, the children offered their parents a warm cup of milk in overflowing emotions after the tea offering to thank the monks.

Representing the monks, Junior Thich Tam Truong had a few words to send to the audience before the ceremony ending. The monk reminded them of the spirit of “Four Grace” in Buddhism. With each great grace being analyzed in detail, he helped the children understand more about gratitude and repayment, as well as keeping five precepts. People who show a spirit of gratitude will have a skillful attitude, create good relationships in society, thereby encountering more favorable conditions and more success in life.
