In the morning of August 22nd, 2019 (July 2nd, LC), the Most Venerable Thich Buu Chanh, Standing Member of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Administration, deputy of Dharma Promulgating Organization, President of the Vietnam Buddhist Institute HCMC, abbot of Phuoc Son monastery, Bien Hoa – Dong Nai has a talk named “On The Way Getting Age And Death” to the 92 retreat participants.

Buddha pointed out the truth of life is birth, age, sickness, and death but most people always try to avoid, unaccepted this truth. Therefore, Ven. preacher helps them to get these matters properly via the teaching from Nikaya. We actually recognize these truths for reducing our attachment and prevent suffering from this. Then taking practice and transforming our normal thought to kind of noble’s.

By this, he asks people to take practice on age and death by seeing and welcoming them every day. Be mindful in every moment we will reduce our fear of death gradually.
