Dharma talk "What Harvard teaches and doesn't teach me! A transformative journey of a Buddhist monk at Harvard” – Venerable Thich Tam Tien

English Dharma talk program named “What Harvard teaches and doesn't teach me! A transformative journey of a Buddhist monk at Harvard” took place at Hoang Phap pagoda’s main lecture hall for the young learners preached by Ven. Thich Tam Tien, Bachelor of Buddhist Studies in Thailand, Master of Naropa Religious Philosophy in the United States, PhD student at Boston University in U.S on the afternoon of Dec. 17th, 2023.

The program helps encourage students who intend to study abroad and develop foreign languages, who want to learn about the necessary conditions when coming to Harvard University - USA. In the Dharma talk, the monk shared what Harvard taught and did not teach, the transformation journey of a Buddhist monk during his time studying here along with Buddha's teachings for lay young people. The dharma session created a new breeze and was enthusiastically welcomed and participated by the young ones.
