Enjoying New Year With Ethnic K’ho – Rai

On January 23rd , 2016 (Dec, 12th Goat Year) Venerable Thich Tam Vien, Hong Phap Pagoda - Ham Thuan Bac district - Binh Thuan Province and monks of Hoang Phap with Anathapindikas such as

Ngoc doctors, Ms Trinh, Lien Chau (Phan Thiet), Lien Thuy, Ms. Lien Oanh’s group, Sen Hong group, Ngoc Hanh, Ngoc Ton, Lien Huong, Kim Lan, Lien Tam (NM. Phuong Vi), Tinh Tin, Tinh Le, Mrs Sau family, Thanh Hanh (CT. Sao Mai), collected more than 100 million dongs, convertible into rice, noodle, etc., and donated the ethnic K’ho-Rai, belong to Dong Giang commune, Dong Tien, La Da; KuKe village, Thuan Minh commune, Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province. Each commune from 100 to 107 gift packages, each of which was valued of 250 thousand VND included cash, apart from clothes, totalized more than 110,000,000 VND.

Set foot down in remote regions, popular saying was felt like “a destitute”. The vehicle was crossed through rolling and craggy hills, then another commune with relatively good paths.  Commune official said: “The weather here is drought year - round, the crop gets lost because of the sunshine, as a result, not enough food to eat well, even in debt”. Listening to him, we mentally understood that local humans were karma born in this place as the Buddha preaching “Abjection region enclosing poor people” so austere life. Gratitude complied with generous people for this charity trip.
