On the morning of September 1st, 2026, Hoang Phap Pagoda officially recorded over 700 Buddhists returning to the temple to register for and attend the Seven-Day Retreat.

The grounds of Hoang Phap Pagoda had been bustling since early morning, Buddhists were guided by the organizing monks to their living, sleeping, and dining areas for the seven-day retreat. On the occasion of National Day (September 2nd), practitioners diligently gathered at the pagoda to practice together, listen to the Dharma, in walking meditation, and chant the Buddha's name. This showed their patience, restraint of mind and body, and eager spirit of learning on the path of cultivating the Threefold Training: Precepts, Concentration, and Wisdom.
