Examining before the fully ordination

Vinaya (the Rules) is the life-line of Buddhism. There is Vinaya, there is Buddhism. The Buddha taught that “those who are not in the controlling of Vinaya, still far away though stand by me, those who always in the controlling of Vinaya, he is nearby me though thousand miles away”.

To get a full ordination, the monks should keep well the Vinaya. No way leads to liberation without taking the Vinaya because it helps to purify one’s body and mind as well as increase the compassion which are indispensable conditions for attaining the final aim in Buddhist practice. Don’t be mistaken the Rules with any dogmas from other religions. The Vinaya has the power to show what produce happiness, and what produce suffering from our words, deeds, and thoughts. Knowing how important of the Vinaya, the practitioners have to keep it well from the beginning for the last achievement.

Before officially entering the Tri Tinh Formal Ceremony of Ordination  organized by Board of directors  belong to Vietnamese Buddhist Congregation in Ho Chi Minh, will take place from 7th to 12th May 2018 (22nd to 27th Lunar Calendar)

There is an examining course to those who are going to take the full ordination was held in Hoang Phap temple, by which we’ll select some good candidates for receiving Buddhist tenet and shouldering duty in spreading Dharma.

For candidates, the four main Vinaya sets have to learn by heart. The other requirements including good conduct; mindful in the four postures from walking, standing, sitting, laying; clear all the chanting rites, presentation rites, and how to use the Dharma tools... Those who can fulfill these requirements, they are approved to take the full ordination; for any missing requirement, practice more and wait for the next Triple Platform Ordination.

This course is really practical to help practitioners having more knowledge and means for Dharma promulgating in future.
