Finishing of Summer Retreat 2023

The end of the summer 2023 retreat is the moment when the students are nostalgic, overwhelmed to express their gratitude to monks, nuns, male and female volunteers who wholeheartedly take care of them during the retreat.

More than 2,600 young people learned moral values from lecturers’ teachings in seven-day passed. These awaken the heart of love, compassion flowers to bloom, the learners will recognize the deep gratitude to their parents, vowing to transform their body-mind, live a kind life and spread good things to life.

 

Next, Junior Thich Tam Truong, Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda reminded young people to always keep a cute attitude, be a filial son in the family, and be a perfect person to help society.

 

The monks gave each of the attendees a gift of Dharma, including books: Sweet Fruit at the End of the Road, Lessons for Teenagers, Mother's Tears, Good Examples in East and West, volume 2.

 

The Summer Retreat will leave many good impressions and unforgettable memories in the youth’s heart. Hopefully with the valuable knowledge equipped in the retreat will help young participants have more motivation, firmly step in difficulties to obstacles in life. On the road of life tomorrow, we will be tired with obstacles, please remember that the friendly Hoang Phap house always opens its arms to welcome us back.
