First contest on Late Most Senior Venerable Ngo Chan Tu’s Life and Religious Career

In the morning of Nov. 8th , 2015 (Lunar Sep. 28th, Goat Year), Hoang Phap Pagoda organized the first contest on late Most Senior Venerable Ngo Chan Tu’s life and Religious career.

In order to express the gratitude and commemorate on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of Late Most Senior Venerable Ngo Chan Tu Death (He is the ancestor who found Hoang Phap Pagoda) Oct. 16th Dragon Year – Oct. 16th Goat Year, Hoang Phap Pagoda held a contest Late Most senior Venerable Ngo Chan Tu’s Life and Religious Career for children from 06 to 14 years of age.
The competition was divided into 3 aged groups:

+ Group 1: from 6 to 7 years old. There were 12 candidates.

 + Group 2: from 8 to 12 years old. There were 45 candidates.

 

+ Groups 3: from 11 to 14 years old. This group included 31 candidates.

 The topic of the first round was about living historical summary of The Late Most Senior Venerable and An essay of Rememering His Grace.

 After valuating the level, the examiners announced the winning candidates the 2nd round.

 

The 2nd round content was about the Cause – Effect and Filial Piety. The 2nd round will take place on Nov. 15th, 2015.
