For the local government side, there were the participants of Mr. Dang Quoc Vinh - Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh People's Committee, Mr. Duong Xuan Hoa - Deputy Head of the Department of Public Relation of Ha Tinh Province, Ms. Bui Thi Loan - Head of Buddhist Department in Ha Tinh province; the monks and nuns; representatives of the local departments, unions and over 5,000 Buddhists.
In the ceremony, Most Venerable Thich Bao Nghiem announced the message of the Dharma Master of Vietnam Buddhist Director Board to all the monks and nuns as well as Buddhists on the occasion of the Vesak 2563 – Buddha Calendar 2019- Solar Calendar. Next, Senior Venerable Thich Chieu Tue read the opening speech of Senior Venerable- the Chief of the Buddhist Director Board. From the government side, Nguyen Quoc Huong – the Member of District Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thach Ha district, on behalf of leaders of departments and agencies, unions from the province to the local had a speech to celebrate Vesak.
During the ceremony, representatives of organizations also had fresh flower baskets to Vietnam Buddhist Director Board in Ha Tinh province on the occasion of Vesak this year.
On this occasion, the Buddhist Director Board donated 28 bicycles - a very meaningful gift to the elementary pupils in difficult circumstances in the district.
After the administrative rituals, the Venerables and monks together with the delegates and Buddhists celebrated the ritual of bathing the Buddha in the joy of all.
