Giving box-lunch portions on occasion the Summer Retreat 2023

In the Junior Abbot’s joyful agreeableness, Charity Board of Hoang Phap pagoda and Trang Nguyen Company went to Thu Duc and Hoc Mon wholesale market of agricultural products to give nearly 10.000 portions of box-lunch in the Summer Retreat of July 09th -16th, 2023.

 Although the pagoda is busy with many affairs, the monks and Buddhists in the Retreat still save time to share meals of warmth to many people who are still struggling in outside life. This is an activity with profound humanistic meaning, showing the fine traditions of the nation.

 

 Life needs many loving hearts that know how to sympathize, share, and be dedicated to serving everyone, because charity is voluntary, depending on the ability of each individual. By accumulating small to great, one should practice volunteering regularly, it will help to cultivate compassion every day, wisdom is expanded, life is happier and more blessed. Charity comes from compassion, not for self-interest, charity with kindness, charity is arbitrary regardless of more or less, big or small.
