Giving Commendation Paper to those who made Lumbini Garden at Home

April, time for the Buddha’s Birthday, Buddhists from over the world joyfully welcome the day Buddha appeared in life.

On occasion of the Vesak Ceremony 2021, according to Buddhist Calendar in 2565, Hoang Phap Pagoda  motivated the spirit “All people welcoming Buddha, all houses greeting Buddha’s Birthday” to Buddhists by making models of Lumbini garden at home, hanging flags and lights …etc, to express our respect to the Buddha who is the Founder of Buddhism.

This year, the Covid 19 epidemic is still dangerous; monks cannot directly go to Buddhists’ houses to give gifts of Dharma and Commendation Paper. However, the monks will send dharma gifts and certificates of merit by post.

The small gifts to Buddhists are encouragement of monks in this Vesak great ceremony. It is like the message for all of us to review the value in Dharma, and encourage each other to study, transform ourselves, and bring that light of wisdom to many people.
