Giving gift portions to pupils on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival

In the atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the monks at Hoang Phap Pagoda shared festival joy to pupils at elementary schools.
Traditionally, children are given lanterns by adults, eaten moon cakes and gathered around the party on the Mid-Autumn Festival. This is an opportunity for parents, grandparents who express close and friendly love for their children and family.
On the afternoon of Sep. 4th, 2019 (lunar Aug. 6th, the Year of the Pig), Monks and Buddhists came to Nhi Tan primary school in Hoc Mon to give 500 gift portions of moon cakes and lanterns to pupils, with 35 portions for teachers.
In the afternoon of Sep. 5th, 2019 (lunar Aug. 7th, the Pig Year), Junior Ven. Thich Tam Trong, Vice Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda, the monks and Buddhists came to Tan Hiep primary school in Hoc Mon to give 750 gift portions of moon cakes and lanterns to students, and 45 portions for teachers. Through this, Ven. had some words of encouragement and advice for the children.
On the morning of Sep. 6th, 2019 (lunar Aug. 8th,the Pig year), the Monks and Buddhists came to Cau Xang primary school in Hoc Mon to give 800 presents including moon cakes and lanterns to learners, accompanying with 50 gift ones for teachers.
