Giving gifts to primary schools

With the meaning of sharing joys of the Buddha's disciples to everyone, every home, especially to children on occasion of the Buddha's birthday in 2563 of Buddhist calendar - 2019 of solar year, Hoang Phap Pagoda organized a gift-giving program at primary schools in the Hoc Mon District.

On May 9th, 2019 (lunar Apr. 05th, the year of the Pig), the Monks gave 2,100 gift portions at Nguyen Thi Nuoi primary school, 500 another portions at Nhi Tan primary school and 750 other ones at Tan Hiep primary school. On May 10th, 2019 (lunar Apr. 06th, the year of the Pig), Monks continued to donate 1,600 gift portions at Truong Van Ngai primary school and 770 another portions at Cau Xang primary school. Each gift portion included cakes, candies and a comic book “Lessons for kids”. This is also interest by Senior Ven. Abbot of Hoang Phap pagoda to the future generations of the country. During summer vacation, instead of wasting time on online games, the kids can read comics. Thereby, it helps them to practice morality, perfecting the personality, so that, they can become full of virtue, useful for oneself, family and society in the future.
