Giving Tet gifts to ethnic minorities in difficult circumstances in Dak Nong

On Jan. 16th, 2023 Junior Thich Tam Tri, Vice Abbot of Hoang Phap pagoda, and the temple’s monks came to Dak Som commune, Dak Glong district, Dak Nong province to give Tet gifts to over 400 households with difficult circumstances.

The gift giving session took place in the presence of local leaders: Mr. Tran Van Dap, Vice Chairman of Dak Som commune together with representatives of departments, local leaders and more than 400 households.

On behalf of Hoang Phap Pagoda, the monks presented 400 gifts to households. Each gift is worth nearly 500,000 VND, including: 10 kg of rice, 1 box of 3 Mien Vegetarian noodles, 1 bottle of soy sauce, 1 bottle of cooking oil, 1 bag of Knor MSG, and an envelope of 200,000 VND.

In addition, the pagoda awarded 100 social insurance allowances to the elderly, weak and lonely people.

The total of gifts given in Dak Nong is more than 300,000,000 VND

During the giving session, the pagoda sent 45 gift portions of dharma to local government leaders.
