Giving Tet gifts to poor and near-poor households of Quang Phap Pagoda - Tay Ninh

On Jan. 17th, 2023, Junior Thich Tam Tri, Vice Abbot of Hoang Phap pagoda, monks, Junior Thich Tam Thach, Abbot of Quang Phap pagoda - Tay Ninh, came to Truong Mit commune, Duong Minh Chau district, Tay Ninh province and gave 250 gifts to disadvantaged households in the commune.

At the meeting, there were the authority leaders’ presence of Truong Mit commune; Mr. Phan Ngoc Hoi - Commune Secretary; Mr. Le Van Loc - Deputy Secretary of the commune; Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Giau - Commune Chairman; Mr. Nguyen Van Sanh - Vice Chairman of the commune; Mr. Tran Thanh Lau - Chairman of the Fatherland Front with more than 250 households.

The representative of Hoang Phap Pagoda presented 250 gifts to residents. Each gift included: 10kg of rice, 1 bottle of cooking oil, 1 bottle of soy sauce, 1 box of vegetarian noodles, 1 bag of MSG, ... for the total of 250 gifts costs 75,000,000 VND.

On the same day, the pagoda also gave commune officials nearly 100 gifts as above.
