Great ceremony to commemorate the Birthday of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara at Dong Cao pagoda, Thanh Hoa

Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva is the symbol of compassion, love, support and protection for all sentient beings. She is a Saint listening to the suffering cry of all species to find salvation. When reciting the name Avalokitesvara, we will arouse love in our heart. Therefore, we could open our minds and transform the sufferings of ourselves and people around us.
Before burning incense, the Junior Abbot guided the mass to meditate, practice listening to the bell in mindfulness, and repeat Bodhisattva vows.
Next, the attendees offered incense, recited sutras, repented, and meditated on the Buddha's name...At the same time, he had dharma teachings for Buddhists: try to maintain faith and cultivate precepts by practicing Buddha's words in daily life. For practitioners cultivating the Pure-Land sect, we need to try to equip ourselves with solid knowledge of Faith, Practice and Vow. Thus, we contribute to building the Pure Land of humanity and will be reborn in a peaceful realm in the future.
