Greeting Mid-Autumn Festival

In the afternoon of September 27th, 2015 (August 15th Goat Year), Hoang Phap Pagoda organized a singing concert for children on the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Mid-Autumn Festival is a long-standing one of Vietnam, which is the occasion for children to play, sing, and find their way back to traditional folk games. From this reason, Hoang Phap Pagoda organized this singing program to create healthy and useful playing field for them on Mid-Autumn Festival.

 During the program, they enjoyed the songs sung by little singers. Moreover, every child also received the present including a mooncake, a can of soft drink, a latern, a cartoon about cause and effect  and a book about the historical summary of the Buddha.

 

Children are the “young buds” and “green sprouts” of a country and nation. Thus, creating the condition for children to go to pagoda and join the activities is to promote the natural bond between children and the Buddha. It is they who themselves  are “good seeds grown in their childhood will become moral and better people in the future.
