In the afternoon of September 15th, 2016 (August 15th, Monkey Year), Hoang Phap Pagoda organized a music Performance for children on the Mid-Autumn Festival.
 

Greeting Mid-Autumn Festival

 

Mid-Autumn Festival is a long-standing one of Vietnam, because it is very attractive, meaningful. Therefore, when Autumn returns, everyone is glad togreet a Mid-Autumn Festival – lunar August 15th– to enjoy the moonlight and pray health, happiness for their family and relative.

The program “Greeting Mid-Autumn Festival” is yearly created a great playing field to the teenagers Buddhists, particularly for children which helps them know the habit to pagoda, get closer to the Three Triratna. Besides, this activity recovers the beauty of folk culture which has been forgotten in the country.

With the legend of “The Moon Lady and the Moon Man”, its cakes, star lanterns, the songs of kid singers,lion‘s dance team, legerdemain, Kungfu, etc, which made spontaneous, joyful smiles in a Mid-Autumn Festival.
