Greeting mid autumn festival at Dong Cao pagoda in Thanh Hoa

A mid autumn festival is coming that reviews many children memories in our mind, such as the legend of “chú Cuội chị Hằng”, the bright moon nights lighting candles and having its cakes, the star lantern parades around village, town, etc, company with the age‘s same friends joking on the lion‘s dance team, warming besides famly.

Harmony in that joyful meaning, on the afternoon and eveningof Sep. 11th, 2016 (lunar Aug. 11th, Monkey Year ) with the support of the local authority togather good men and believing women Buddhist everywhere, Dong Cao pagoda organized “GREETING MID AUTUMN FESTIVAL” for the young and children on the area of Nga Son district with many attractive iterms.

Beginning was the statue painting program – a useful and simple game - helps develop their creative abilities. After having the meal at pagoda, each of them received a candle for their lantern parades. When returning pagoda, they were instructed reading the verses named “Graterfulness” by Junior Thich Tam Hung, which was composed by Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh. This helps they understanding the merits of their parents, teachers, nation, etc, and then the iterms of national tradition Kungfu and performance which was showed by them.
