Handing-over ceremony a charity house, and offering to rain-retreat Schools in Hau Giang of the Charity Board

Teacher Nguyen Hong Tuan's family is facing many difficulties as described in the previous newsletter. Hoang Phap Pagoda’s Charity Board has supported money and built a charity house with a budget of 90,000,000 VND from the beginning of July 2023. By Aug. 12th, 2023, the house was completed; handed over to Teacher Nguyen Hong Tuan to put into use.
At the giving session was attended by Senior Thich Phuoc Thanh, Hau Giang province’s Buddhist Director Board, Abbot of Quan Am pagoda; Junior Thich Tam Hue; monks and Buddhists at Hoang Phap pagoda; Ms. Tran, Branch’s Executive Board, Thuan An Secondary School’s female-male Teachers.
Junior Thich Tam Hue has advice to Teacher Hong Tuan, try to do good, live well, take refuge in Three Jewels, keep five precepts, practice vegetarianism, recite Buddha's name, live filial piety with your parents, get along with colleagues and neighbors to have a good life. In the joy of receiving a new house, the teacher and his family expressed their emotions about the support of Hau Giang province’s Buddhist Director Board and Hoang Phap pagoda’s Charity Department helped his family have a spacious and warm house in the rainy seasons.
Representative of the Charity Department - Junior Thich Tam Hue gave to the family 01 altar, 01 set of tables and chairs, and a statue of Buddha Shakyamuni. The total amount to complete the house and equipment is 104,000,000 VND. The monk gave Dharma gifts, including: the books Practice at home, Oral Karma, and Retribution for creatures to teacher Nguyen Hong Tuan and other Teachers in the School.
On Aug. 13th, 2023 (June 27th, Year of the Cat) Junior Thich Tam Hue, Head of the delegation, monks and 50 Buddhists at Hoang Phap pagoda made an offering to the Rain-Retreat Schools in Hau Giang province.
The Rain-Retreat School at first is Quan Am pagoda in Hau Giang province. On behalf of the delegation, Junior Thich Tam Hue gave a speech of offering to the Three Jewel, and asked about the Sangha, dignities’ health is practiced here.
Senior Thich Phuoc Thanh, Director Board of Hau Giang province’s Buddhist Sangha, Abbot of Quan Am Pagoda expressed his deep gratitude to all monks of Hoang Phap pagoda being always interested in supporting the annual rain retreats; instructing the delegations to offering to monks and nuns with peace of mind to practice. After that, the group had a warm meal at the temple.
After that, the delegation came to Di Da Monastery in Hau Giang province; Buddhist Lien Kieu gave a speech to practitioners at the pagoda.
On behalf of nuns at the temple, Nun Thich Nu Dieu Phuc expressed her deep gratitude to the Monks and the delegation.
The last place is Truong Phap pagoda (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda’s sect) in Hau Giang province, managed by Junior Thich Tam Ý. On behalf of the delegation, Buddhist Tinh Minh made a speech to practitioners at the pagoda. Next, Junior Thich Tam Hue led Buddhists in the practice of reciting the Buddha's name, praying that the temple will soon be completed as hoped.
The total value of the offering on this occasion is 70 million VND.
