Hoang Phap Ashram Reviewing the Merits of Its Founder

In the early days of winter, weather turns a bit cold in Southern Vietnam recalling deep memories in the mind of everyone. In such context, Hoang Phap Ashram felt warm gathering together to review the merits and contribution of its Founder.

To prepare for coming anniversary of Hoang Phap Founder, in the evening of Nov 30, 2017 (Oct 13, lunar calendar), with the witness of Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh, the four assemblies together joined the test about "biography and merits of Hoang Phap Founder, the late Most Venerable Ngo Chan Tu".

Before the test, Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh had a brief talk encouraging the mass following the example of Hoang Phap founder who left us his large compassionate and intellectual heritage. Though he has gone away, the good effect of his virtue still keeps on pervading in this world forever. Thanks to the large merit of the Master Founder that we can have Hoang Phap pagoda as a place to practice and serve Triratna nowadays. Whenever reading the biography of the Founder, we feel grateful and proud of what he has done. Examination is just one among the ways the ashram does to express its gratitude to him.

After the examination, the Senior Venerable sent his big thanks to the mass for its commitment, gratefulness, and effort in preparation for coming annual anniversary of the founder. The Abbot was very happy to see the exam being done well. The exam closed in the joy of all.
