Hoang Phap's Most Master visits Truong Phap pagoda 's construction project in Hau Giang

Most Thich Chan Tinh and pagoda’s monks had a trip to inspect Truong Phap pagoda’s construction project in Hau Giang province, belonging to the Hoang Phap pagoda sect on Nov. 19th, 2023.

Despite being busy with many Buddhist activities, the Most still cares about urging and encouraging the spirit of contractors and workers at Truong Phap Pagoda construction project to promote the process of building the temple quickly with quality.

Preaching Dharma as vision of life,

Benefiting beings as mission of life is the sacred duty of the renunciant

The monks’ sacred obligation and duty is to propagate the Dharma and benefit sentient beings, but to carry out this Dharma spreaching is necessary to have means. To help male and female Buddhists coming to the temple, listen to Dharma and practice, the Organizers must meet all the essential material conditions, so building a temple to cultivate is a doing brings many blessings.

For many years now, the Most Master and pagoda’s monks have always tried to build solid facilities to open retreats suitable for many backgrounds and classes: Student retreat, Children's playground, Summer retreat, Seven-Day retreat, One-day Practice ... attracting a lot of attention and have a great influence in the community with an increasing of men and women Buddhists coming to the temple to study. For that reason, the pagoda needs to build solid structures including many items such as lecture halls, dining room, rest-rooms, etc ... to serve the retreats, Truong Phap Pagoda officially started construction in April 2023. This project is one of the endeavours of the pagoda’s the Master and monks.

In the visit, the Most talked about the conditions in 2018 when a Buddhist donated 20,000 square meters of land in Hau Giang. Then, he instructed the monks to buy an additional 20,000 square meters to facilitate construction and practice. Good conditions were met with support from the Chief Director Board of VBS of the Senior in Hau Giang province, religious leaders at all levels, and local authorities in applying for permission to establish Truong Phap pagoda, and the construction permit was completed in March 2023.

At the same time, he confided about the sculpturing of a big Buddha statue, and some initial advantages and difficulties of its funding. He hopes to receive the support and dedication of all Buddhists and Donors to join hands so that the temple and the big Buddha statue can be completed soon. In the future, this temple will be a solid spiritual place for Buddhists in the Western provinces to return for study and practice, aiming to build a society that develops both materially and spiritually.
