Humanitarian Blood Donation

On Feb. 16th, 2020 (lunar Jan. 23rd, the year of the rat), the Humanitarian blood donation center in Ho Chi Minh City came Hoang Phap Pagoda to organize a blood donation which was collected from monks, Buddhists and guests visit to the pagoda.

With the message "A drop of blood donated, a life to be saved", blood donation is a noble expressing of understanding, kindness and responsibility each individual to the community. It is also the tradition of solidarity and support of our nation.

Understanding humanistic meaning and importance of blood donation, this event attracted Buddhists, teenagers and monks to register for their participation.

At here, everyone was examined and consulted health to ensure blood pressure, weight. After participating, blood donors will be received gifts and a blood donation certificate be granted by the Blood Donation Directing Committee. Besides the honorable value, the blood donation certificate is also valid for reimbursement of blood at a hospital or medical facility.

This chance, the medical team received hundreds units of blood. After processing at the center, blood units will be transferred to hospitals and health centers to support patients in need of help.
