Humanitarian Blood Donation

On Sep. 13th, 2020 (lunar July 26th, Year of Mouse), the Humanitarian blood donation center in Ho Chi Minh City came to Hoang Phap Pagoda to organize a blood donation. This is a continuation of the previous blood donation activities, attracting many people to join in.

With the message "A drop of blood is donated, a life to be saved", the voluntary blood donation movement mobilized the people to participate, showing a humane sharing with unlucky fates.

The National Blood Bank to save people always needs volunteer support. After social distance of the pandemic Covid-19, the amount of blood reserves plummeted, needing consensus donation of the mass, ready for patients.

Early morning, doctors and the Red Cross Association of Tan Hiep commune have been busy preparing, examining and consulting health to ensure blood pressure and weight. Attendees were examined and consulted health to ensure blood pressure, weight. After that, blood donors will receive gifts and a blood donation certificate be granted by the Blood Donation Directing Committee. Besides the honorable value, this certificate is also valid for reimbursement of blood at a hospital or medical facility.

This opportunity, the medical team received hundreds of units of blood. After processing at the center, blood units will be transferred to hospitals and health centers to support patients in need of help.
