Humanitarian relief trip in Myanmar

The magnitude 7.7 earthquake at the end of March 2025 caused damage in a large area of six regions and states, killing more than 3,000 people, more than 4,000 people suffered and millions of people affected by earthquakes. Thus, material and mental losses in disasters are difficult to calculate.
After the earthquake over a month in the Mandalay and Sagaing area, relief work, and rebuilding are still taking place in a very difficult situation. Thousands of families lose their houses in temporary tents, tens of thousands of people have no jobs, the existing essential needs are relying on relief delegations. The loss may take several years to be able to overcome.
Receiving the support from monks and Buddhists at home and abroad, the Hoang Phap pagoda charity came to Mandalay and Sagaing right after the Buddha's Birthday ceremony. This time, the delegation made offerings to 170 temples, a nursing home, and supported 3,223 families in the most severely damaged areas with the amount of 1,863,860,000 (equivalent to 307,060,790 MMK). At each monastery, the delegation gave from 6,000,000 VND to VND 60,000,000 depending on the number of monks and facility damages; each family has damaged from VND 300,000 to VND 600,000 depending on the specific circumstances. Hoang Phap Pagoda Charity can only assist with limited ability because the number of monasteries and the number of people affected by earthquakes is too large.
The delegation received 50,000 dollars of Australian dollars from Junior Thich Tam Minh and Hoang Phap temple in Australia, the remaining amount thanks to the contributions of monks and Buddhists from near and far, Hoang Phap pagoda's branches.
Respectfully pay gratitude to the Sangha, Buddhists at home and abroad have supported, helping this charity to be fulfilled perfectly.
