Lantern Candle Lighting Ceremony to commemorate Amitabha Buddha at Nhat Phap pagoda, Dong Nai

Harmony in the great joy of the Pure Land Sect ’s million Buddhists of the Amitabha Buddha anniversary, on Dec. 11th, 2022 (Nov. 18th, LC), Nhat Phap pagoda in Dong Nai province (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda’s custom) solemnly celebrated this great event to pay homage to the Buddha.

The ceremony was witnessed and directed by Senior Thich Phap Dang, Head Director Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Thong Nhat District, Junior Thich Tam Luan, Head Propagation Board in Cam My district; the Sangha of Hoang Phap Pagoda accompanying with the venerables, abbot Monks, Nuns returned to attend the ceremony. 

The ceremony took place extremely dignified and reverent, the mass wholeheartedly turned to the Amitabha Buddha good Father of Four kind beings, the omniscient one of Three realms. In the night's sacred moments, all practitioners made a sincere vow to follow the Buddha's example, practice diligently, and dignify themselves to destroy greed, hatred and delusion at the present life, being reborn in His pure Land in the future.

The ceremony ended in the joy of the mass.
