Late Most Ngo Chan Tu s' Death Anniversary at Dong Cao Pagoda - Thanh Hoa Province

On the Retreat “Reflecting on ourselves” at Dong Cao Pagoda organized the 32th Anniversary of Patriarch ’s Death Day of Hoang Phap pagoda - Most Venerable Ngo Chan Tu and the Patriarchs had contributed Dong Cao pagoda on Nov. 21st, 2020 (lunar Oct. 7th, year of rat).

The ceremony took place under the witness of Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung –Abbot at Dong Cao pagoda; Junior Ven. Thich Tuy, the monks at Long Son pagoda  and Buddhist believers returned to attend.

After MC Quynh Anh introduced the program and the reason for the ceremony, all ashram spent a minute commemorating the spirit of the late Most Ven., guided by Junior Thich Tam Hung. That moment, it was the time of lighting candles of Gratitude to the Patriarch and the Buddhists offering fresh flowers.

In the solemn atmosphere of ceremony, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Tuy on behalf of the disciples declared the history of the Late Master Ngo Chan Tu. Buddhist Tue Lien Thuy had a feeling speech to the Founder.

On the anniversary, Junior. Ven. Thich Tam Hung stated some words of compliments to the late Most Venerable, His career was a bright example for the lay-home Buddhists and leaving-home Buddhists to follow. This chance, he also advised every Buddhists should learn Sutras more diligently in order to repay grace to Religious Master.

After that, the Venerables and Buddhists respectfully offered incense together to commemorate Him and chant Doctrine teaching handed down by the Buddha.

At the ceremony, there were Buddhist youth in Dong Cao pagoda sang a song “The Teacher's Heart, Understanding and Love”.
