Lễ cầu an đầu năm tại chùa Tiêu Dao - Quảng NinhNew Year’s Praying Ceremony for Peace at Tieu Dao Pagoda – Quang Ninh Province.

“Nguyen” is beginning, “Đan” is early in the morning. Tet Nguyen Dan is the ceremony of welcoming the first day of the New Year, a new wish and hope for all the fresh in soul and outside the world. The new spring brought the best things to everyone, everywhere and all beings.

With the Maitreya Spring,  on February 13th, 2016 (Lunar, January 06th Monkey Year), Tieu Dao pagoda  â€“ Ha Khau Ward – Ha Long City – Quang Ninh Province formally organized the New Year’s Praying Ceremony for Peace.

Joining in the ceremony, there was Junior Venerable Thich Tam Tinh’s attending – Abbot of Tieu Dao and Venerables from other Pagodas in the Province. Together with more than a thousand Buddhists.

On the occasion of New Year, New Year’s Praying Ceremony for Peace, Junior Venerable sent his wishes to the Buddhists: “In the Spring I wish for a safe and sound song, rich achievement, all  expected things, from the old to the young full of smiling, all delighting faces full of happiness, the Spring with hope, prosperous families. Wishing for good health and longevity.  

In the end of the ceremony, the Junior Ven. also gave presents to the Buddhists and people attending the ceremony.
