Management Board of the Buddhist Congregation of Vietnam (MBBCVN) in Hoc Mon District held the 2561th Vesak

In the morning of May 09, 2017 (April 14, lunar calendar) monks and Buddhists from Hoang Phap Pagoda came to Linh Son Pagoda (Ba Diem, Hoc Mon District, HCMC) to celebrate the 2561th Vesak ceremony held by MBBCVN in Hoc Mon District

After Buddha recitation rite, the ashram spent a moment of silence in remembrance of heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the peace and happiness of all.

At the ceremony, the Most Venerable Thich Minh Chon, Deputy Head of Central Propagation Division, head of Propagation Department of MBBCVN in HCMC, re-stated the Vesak message in 2016 of the Most Venerable Thich Pho Tue, head of MBBCVN. After that, the Most Venerable Thich Thien Minh, head of MBBCVN in Hoc Mon district, spoke the Vesak speech of the organization.

In the solemn and pure atmosphere, the mass sincerely and wholeheartedly celebrated the Vesak Day.

At the end of the ceremony, monks and Buddhists released balloons and prayed for peace and freedom to the world.
