Mid-Autumn Festival at Dong Cao Thanh Hoa pagoda

The Mid-Autumn Night is held with traditional items with many meanings for children. After instructing the Buddhists to grant lanterns at 18h30, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung, the abbot of Dong Cao pagoda, lighted lanterns walking with the children everywhere. After that, the mass watched music shows performed by the children under the guidance of MC Xuan Hong.
This festival was especially granted the 5th scholarship “Helping Dream Come True” for students gaining good achievements in the school year 2019 - 2020. On behalf of the Organizers, Junior Abbot Ven. had few words of praise and gratitude to the donor making up a meaningful party in a difficult situation. He also reminded all attendees to try their best to study and be diligent so that they will become useful people for the family and society, supporting the Dharma in the future. This occasion, the mass read the poem Gratitude. Finally, they all had a small party and sat together besides the cakes at the mid-autumn festival.
