Mid-Autumn Festival at Tay Khanh Pagoda - Thai Binh

On the evening of same day, Venerable Thich Tam Kinh, Abbot of Tay Khanh Pagoda visited the camps’ festival in the commune and presented gifts to cheer and encourage the children’s spirit.

On the evening of September 24, 2018 (August 15th), the children of Cao Mai village gladly came to Tay Khanh Pagoda to receive gifts from Venerable Thich Tam Kinh. The gift is simple but expressed a limitless love to the children, at the same time, it creates favorable conditions for the children to know the pagoda, to close to monks, and to learn the first lessons of Buddhism. Before giving gifts, Ven Thich Tam Kinh had a message, encouraging, greeting to all the children.
After receiving the gifts, the children accompany with Venerable Thich Tam Kinh lighted the lanterns steps by steps to the village‘s culture House. The ceremony took place in a joyful atmosphere and left much joy for the children and the people around.
