Mid-Autumn Festival at Tay Khanh Pagoda, Thai Binh

For a long time, Mid-Autumn Festival has become a traditional culture Festival of Vietnamese people. On this occasion, the children are joy under the moon, lion dance, singing songs beside the tray of confectionery, playing colorful lanterns in love and fun of people around.

Tay Khanh Pagoda (at Cao Thuong, Quang Hung, Kien Xuong, Thai Binh) gave gifts to connect good emotion to the children at kindergartens in Quang Hung commune on Sep. 11th, 2019 (lunar on Aug.14 th, the Year of the Pig).

In the evening, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Kinh, abbot of Tay Khanh pagoda came to the camps of festival giving gifts to encourage the children.

 On the evening of Sep. 12th, 2019 (lunar Aug. 15th, the year of the pig), the children in Cao Mai hamlet gathered to Tay Khanh pagoda to receive gifts from the Monk. In the bustling and joyful atmosphere, he and the children gladly took the lanterns from pagoda to the Cultural House of village. On this occasion, children in the Northwestern region also received gifts on mid-autumn Festival.
