Mid-autumn Festival in Cambodia

Before the ceremony, Junior Venerable Thich Tam Truc talked about the meaning ofMid-autumn Festival. It is the ceremony that had originated long time ago in Vietnam, which is an opportunity for children with fun, singing and looking back to the traditional folk games. Because of that, Hoang Phap Temple in Cambodia organized the music program on occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival to create a good playing field and useful for the children. After the Mid-Autumn lantern parade, they were awarded more than 300 gifts include: moon cake, candy, milk boxes, lanterns, copy books, pens and bead-bracelets.

Gifts were offered by Buddhists Dieu Thanh, Thien Thanh, Duoc Hue bookstore and good men and believing women.

Watching the baby’s face smiling happily together with the full moon, the monks and all Buddhists felt extremely joyful undescriptively. The lights were lit up, which create so much hope and confidence for preschool children. The presence of hundreds of little kids from many different conditions that made the atmosphere lively and equally warm, these segments had been connected with the soul, the love, the mind left us an empathy and love

Thanking for our enough grace to gather into Hoang Phap Asrama in the protection of the Three Jewels. This is probably the secondMid-autumnfestival night which bears the meaning and emotion deeped in all hearts.
